Tahlia Hartley 2025

Tahlia Hartley: Hi, I am Tahlia, and I am originally from Australia, and have been based out of Fernie, BC since 2019. I attended Curtin University (2016/2019) and Murdoch University (2017) in Perth, WA for the beginnings of 3 different degrees (IT, Criminology, and Secondary Education in Mathematics and Economics), but decided I had not found my passion yet, so I decided to travel. I returned to student life at the University of Lethbridge undertaking a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Art Studio. I aim to try every art form offered at the University, and have found that I love print making with a focus on eventually creating a children's book. My art primarily addresses mental health, escapism, and infertility. I hope that my art helps just one person in the world feel like they are not alone in their struggles.
