We were able to go to the Tiny Press tutorial at the SAAG which I had attended prior in Indigenous Art Studio last year. It was still nice to go again as it is great to walk away with a memento like a personal notebook or sketchbook. My sister was able to come as well which was great as we enjoyed ourselves and the process and it was special to share what I do at school with her.

I also enjoyed showing my sister Katie Bruce's exhibit in the library gallery at the SAAG as Katie is an excellent artist and print maker, but I also helped screen print all the tissue paper so it was great to show her the possibilities of where my degree could take me.

It was also nice as a student in a class called Artist Books and Printed Matter to see Katie's work directly addressing that in a public exhibition. Her work included printed matter on tissue paper as well as artist books, including accordian books which helped me understand that there are many unique ways to make even a simple accordian book.
